Burgundy might represent a small percentage in quantity but its quality is unmeasurable. In fact Burgundy’s complexity and elegance is represented in its quality wines, this wine producing region holds 100 of the 477 wine appellations in France.
Burgundy shows the essence of terroir perfectly changing so often over hills, plots and base soil. It seems impossible but a single wine growing region shows us 100 appellations and outstanding differences between one plot and the next. The best part is how easy we can notice the differences as most of the wines are based on one of the two main grape varieties.
