Domaine Pascal Bouley
Domaine Pascal Bouley is a fifth generation family owned vineyard with a total of 10 ha in Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Monthelie and Saint-Romain appellations in Burgundy. Domaine Pascal Bouley profits from this nice choice of “terroir” which provides them with the opportunity to express the personality of each place through the wine. The vineyards are located at the heart of the slope, an excellent sun exposition spot optimal for the wine quality. The location of the vineyard explains the high quality and the success of their Premier Cru wines.
At Domaine Pascal Bouley the harvest is done manually. The grapes are then de-stemmed and selected also by hand. The fermentation takes place in small tanks in which the wine spends between 10 and 12 days. Then the wine is cellared in French oak barrels for 18 months from which only 25% of the oak barrels are new.
Domaine Pascal Bouley uses the best modern techniques of sustainable viticulture. They control their yields to ensure quality. The wines produced by Domaine Pascal Bouley are subtle, well-balanced, fruity and elegant. Their wines are very highly recognized by Burghound.
