Additional Product Information
A fruity and fresh red burgundy wine characterized by a subtle very tasty palate full of black cherries. This Bourgogne Rouge from the Côte Chalonnaise presents harmony, balance and sweet tannins. It has an aromatic profile of lovely fruits notes with ripe red fruit, cherries and licorice hints. The optimum serving temperature is 16°C. It goes very well with simple but tasty dishes.
It is produced on a clay soil vineyard where the average age is between 10 and 20 years located at the base of the slope. The yields are limited and the harvest is done manually. The grapes undergo cold maceration for 2 days which allows the wine to obtain all the fruit flavors and color from the grape skin. Fermentation is obtained through natural yeasts. Bottling is done on spring to trap the fresh fruit in the wine bottle.
