Top Burgundy at Extraordinary Price – Red Wine Vintage 2013
Dear wine enthusiast
You can now pre-order some of our wine at a very fine price. The wine is from three of our top producers in Burgundy, vintage 2013:
Domaine Tortochot, Gevrey-Chambertin
Domaine Pascal Bouley, Volnay
Domaine Rene Cacheux, Vosne Romanee
Within the last 3 years the price for these Village Wine and 1. Cru have increased with 10-15% per year, while Tortochot’s Grand Cru have increased with 25-30% per year. With this offer we have a very low profit, that is only possible if the amount ordered is already sold. The 1. Cru wines are among the best in quality compared to price, on the danish market.
Be aware, that some of the wines can only be ordered in a small amount. This especially goes for the Grand Cru wines from Tortochot, so these bottles will be divided between the customers who order them first.
2013 is a year with very elegant wines, and so far Tortochot has received high remarks (points) at Jancis Robinson and Robert Parker. Allan Meadows from Burghound has yet to give his points for Tortochot’s 2013 vintage.
The Fine Wine Review have tasted Pascal Bouley’s 2013 vintage while still in casks, and have given them 90-94 points. Due to hail, Bouley only had 1/4 yield in 2013 compare to his average.
Your order, of at least 6 bottles, is required at the 4th of october at the email email@example.com
You find the price list in the picture.
We expect the wine to be delivered at the end of october, and to be paid at the delivery. Therefore your order has to be paid a couple of days before the delivery.
Chantal Tortochot on the 2013s:
“2013 is very classical, a late harvested vintage. I like 2013 more than 2012 which was rich but less representative of Burgundy. I really like 2013’s purity. 2012 was 40% lower yielding versus 20% lower in 2013. Actually we have lost 1.2 vintages during the 2010-2013 period – if you take 2009 as a standard yield. These 2013s will be bottled between September 2014 and January 2015.”
